Privacy Policy for the Winemaker app

2. Scope of this document

This policy applies only to the Winemaker app. It does not cover third-party websites, services, or products.

3. What data we collect

We do not collect any user data within the meaning of data protection law (including the GDPR). In particular:

• we do not collect identifying data (e.g. name, email address, phone number),
• we do not record device or advertising identifiers,
• we do not collect diagnostic data, event logs, or usage metadata,
• we do not process location, contacts, media, or other information from your device,
• the app does not use cookies or similar technologies,
• the app contains no analytics, advertising, remarketing, or third-party SDKs.

Data you enter (recipes, realizations, must measurements, notes) is stored only in a local database on your device and is not sent anywhere.

4. Offline operation

The app works without an internet connection. Data is not sent to our servers or to any third parties, because we do not operate any such servers.

5. Permissions and access to device resources

By default the app does not require access to sensitive resources. The permissions needed for core functionality (local notifications) are used locally only and do not result in any data leaving the device.

Permissions used by the app:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – showing local reminder notifications for the stages of the winemaking process.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – restoring the notification schedule after the device restarts.
• VIBRATE – vibration for notifications.

Notifications are scheduled in inexact mode (without the exact-alarm permission). The app does not use the internet permission and does not send any data off the device.

6. Sharing and transferring data

We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data, including to third countries or international organizations.

7. Third-party services and libraries

The app does not use third-party services (e.g. analytics, advertising, social login). If such services are introduced in the future, we will update this Policy.

8. Security

We design the app with privacy and security in mind. Because we do not collect or process user data off the device, the risk to privacy is limited. We recommend installing the app from legitimate sources and keeping it up to date.

9. Your rights

Because we do not process personal data, the rights granted by data protection law (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) generally do not apply. If you would like to confirm that no data is processed, or have any questions, please contact us.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the app or in the law. We will announce material changes by publishing an updated version with its effective date.

12. Children and age

The app is about making wine and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and does not collect any data from children.
